Schemes of the Scholar by capprotti Schemes of the Scholar by capprotti
Here's another piece from Fantasy Flight's - A Game of Thrones. This was from the set that I did "Forging the Chain" for.

If you hadn't noticed... Ridley Scott was a HUGE inspiration on this one (as well as the other pieces I did for this set). If I had my way all my work would have a lot of "Ridley" in it :-P But sometimes I can pull it off, sometimes not so much.

The only issue I have with it is how the powder is falling. Don't think it'd spread out quite like that :P

Nonetheless, beautiful piece. Especially love his expression.

Very cool! How many more images did you do for the Game of Thrones card set?
I was too late with applying for that :(

I've been doing cards since 2004, so.... a lot :-P I'm curious myself. I wonder if there's a database on line.

Gorgeous lighting, and I really like the angle you chose. The bit of green reflecting on his face is a nice touch and adds a sinister mood to the character. Well done!

Just wow. I love all of the texture in the painting and this guy's expression is awesome! Not quite suspicious and not quite guilty...very subtle. Gorgeously done!

I wondered if you knew it was me, but I thought it might be weird to point it out. =P

Bah, don't take notes from me, unless its about how to put asinine amounts of detail into your paintings, haha =P I look forward to your updates! You remind to me keep it fresh and not overwork. =D
