Another recent L5R Card. What got printed wasn't more than a glorified sketch. But I really liked where it was going and put some more time into it after I sent the final in. It's still a work in progress. Hopefully I can find the time to finish this up soon. Those cherry blossoms were a lot of fun to paint. Thanks to

EDIT: WOW! How did this happen. This piece is certainly not new but boy has it gotten attention recently. I appreciate all the love so much and I'm glad people enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed working on it. Thanks for the Daily Deviation!!!

~capprottiNew Asako is one of those pieces you can get lost in, admiring all the details hidden in this beautiful painting. I chose this piece (out of many other outstanding ones) because the detail is truly inspiring. The look on the figures face is hauntingly intriguing and the whole scene is eye candy. The highlights and shading are superb. The robes are as well detailed, showing the prowess and ambition of this deviant. Well done!
